Light’s & Music - Cut Copy

Theory; This isn’t only about the film clip with the highly addictive new sound, of course Cut Copy with Lights & Music, but the lyrics don’t exactly point out what I will say… though I’ve been listening to this song quite often this week, thought I’d make something out of it!

Cut Copy

This song has a chill rhythm that’s easy listening, Cut Copy - from Melbourne, Australia, a band that’s been around for a while but just started getting it’s high share of fame, after a few tours over the past 7-8 years from their start, they’re on a roll!

“Their sound, often labeled as indie dance and/or electroclash, draws considerable influence from 80s new wave and post punk genres.”

Creating the 80s feel and taste of fashion in their video clips, bringing it to the new era.

Light’s & Music, as this song says; this week has been pretty hectic and still is going, I’m pretty sure everyone deals with being under the spotlight and where I work, we use music to entertain everyone. This justifies what I’m feeling during a learning process, being under the light and coming home to music is something that’s dear to me.
Many don’t know.
But there’s something about them and this song.

This is an insight for the band itself who are talented in their own way, which I admire dearly, in their own way of style that’s inspired me in this week.

Anyways… Stay tuned!

Street fashion denim

Yes, I’m back from the Collectors War!
It’s been a while and here I am to show you what’s what with denim… aesthetically really.
You all know what it is, how it is, what looks good and feels great!

High fashion brand names established from the 1800s to the new denim bandits taking it into inspiration and showing off the new style quality… Color, style, fitted, straight, boot cut, high-waist, skinny to narrow fit. ETC - coz the list goes on… Everything a denim collectors fetish needs to know! No matter how much the price tag is stretched it’ll always be around for decades!

true religion

True Religion Considered one of the hottest brands in the business and a favorite of Jessica Simpson’s and “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria’s.Prices range from $150 to $429.

Back from the collectors war has been tough, taking time off to analyze the world today, where fashion is heading not only to the extreme but to the simple side of it.

Sources say:
In the past five years, the jeans market has been transformed, with so-called premium denim – which provides a superior fit and styling – becoming one of the hottest segments of the apparel industry. Macy’s and Nordstrom, among other retailers, are dedicating huge swaths of floor space to jeans that cost $150 and up. The success of premium denim has rippled through the apparel business, with small labels angling to become the next True Religion…

The phenomenon has caused a huge amount of denim to flood the market, causing some apparel industry analysts to predict a “denim glut” in which retailers will slash prices to move bloated inventory.

Many analysts say the premium-denim market still has legs…”

High-class is considered the top fashion in todays society which is everybody’s type of fashion, just the look of it… right… We can all bluff with name tags and get away with it, in style and attitude. But the real ones are with quality.
So keep your eye out on new denims out, get your butt ready… and a tipsave up, you get what your moneys worth!

Cliche huh?? True story.
